R4 SDHC Flashcart "flashcart failed to load" error on NTRBoot - even though it says its compatible under Ace3+?

I just bought a 2023 R4 cart from amazon, and found that anything past 2020 is incompatible. Is there some other way that I can flash my 3ds even though its on 11.17, or am I stuck until an update comes out for ntrboot to support the new cards?
