Use current PV production as input to EOS

It is correct that EOS can also use the current PV production for its optimization?
I can't find any configuration for the current PV production in EOS-connect.
I am wrong?

Hi,

I thought that EOS uses not only the PV forcast for its optimizations, but also the real current PV production.
For example it can be that the PV forcast if not so optimistic and the current PV production is much higher.

Or maybe I am wrong?

you mean maybe a similiar function as already given in evcc:

• logging the recent pv yields AND the forecasts from that time
• and calculate a scale factor
• this can be used to adapt the retrived forecast and then given to the optimizer

it's a more bigger integration - and needs a database in background (thoughts were already made ;-) )

1. putted on the list for further integrations
   or meanwhile
2. use evcc as pv source - with configured pv forecast and all the needed sensors around in evcc -> eos_connect uses directly the forecast and the scale factor

current PV production is only "one" point in time, so I see no advantages for another kind of integration of the real current PV production ... optmizer needs the forecast to decide what is the command right now for the inverter/ battery
