How to make the "Open here (CRE)" action default, without having to go through an extra dialog?

Just to let you know that I am very happy using your plugin in Koreader to access my entire library via simple interface I wrote in php/js. The js part (Search) of course does not work in the plugin, but that is expected. But browsing works PERFECTLY and I even set Koreader's HOME to the plugin's cache subdirectory for this particular site, so that the books that I need are loaded on demand and readable from it (I just have to be careful and never click on "Clear cache" button :)

The only imperfection is that I have to go through an extra dialog to keep selecting "Open here (CRE)" option and also that it adds all the pages to Koreader's History, whereas I only need one item in History -- the top-level, root of the directory tree.

The above screenshot is the Chrome's view of my library. I can post a screenshot from Koreader, of course.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad this extension worked for you. I have two suggestions:
1- did you tried bookmarking this link so that you don't need to use history?
2- did you try the save button to download books? ( they will be downloaded to the folder you wrote here: https://github.com/omer-faruq/webbrowser.koplugin/blob/main/webbrowser_configuration.sample.lua#L37 , save_to_directory parameter )

Unfortunately this popup is not created by this extension, so it may be hard to find a way to prevent it and trigger the button directly. I'll look into this when I have time

Yes, of course I tried "Save" button, but it saves them in a linear fashion, i.e. simply dumps them to the directory, designated as "HOME" within Koreader. Plus, it creates a duplicate in the cache subdirectory for this host, but this copy is stored in the "proper location", i.e. for example Science/Mathematics/Algebra/Shilov/Linear-Algebra-1977.djvu. So, it is more logical to designate as HOME the subdirectory in cache/webbrowser, which corresponds to the host where the library is stored.

Bookmarking means going first to the webbrowser, which is an extra step, whereas from History I can quickly jump to the top-level page for the library and navigate. The only slowdown is having to select "Open here (CRE)" for each link that I click.
