Quick questions: best hardware, max range, and frequency/decoder coverage

Hi Maintainers,

I’m evaluating this project for a real-time drone detection build. A few quick questions:

What hardware setup do you recommend for best out-of-the-box performance (host + RF front-end)?

What’s the best practical way to maximize range (recommended antennas/mounting, and any typical real-world range figures)?

What frequency ranges are actually supported for decoding (not just detecting), and is support protocol-based or DJI-model/generation-based?

If we capture valid samples for a supported protocol, does decoding work regardless of center frequency (within the protocol), or are there hard band limits?

Is it possible to extend coverage to scan all DJI operating bands and decode everything feasible, so we don’t miss DJI products? If not, what’s the best recommended approach?
