I’m unable to get a device up and running. It’s a Zigbee‑based tilt sensor connected through a multi‑gateway.
In the Tuya Smart Life app the sensor works fully as expected, but it does not operate correctly in this integration.

If it's Zigbee based it may be registered in the Tuya cloud but the local protocol is Zigbee not Tuya. You should, in theory at least, be able to access using the Zigbee binding.

of course I could use the Zigbee binding. It does work with the sensor, but I’m having range issues, and the device often goes permanently offline until it’s reset. Because of that, and because I’d like to reduce the number of bindings I use overall, I had the idea of integrating the device into the Tuya binding via the bridge.
