Is there a way to show special directory entries (. and ..) in completions for file system?

I'm working on showing completions automatically as the user types in nushell and this causes a problem when they open the current working directory with say hx . because the completer automatically grabs the first hidden file/directory instead of the special directory entry for the current directory.

No, these aren't included in the file completion.
