Plans for PDF and/or .docx import? #182

Hi There, I love the work you all are doing with OpenDQA. Most of my work involves PDFs, and my tests with OpenDQA seems to limit documents to text-based documents. Are there plans to support other document types? Particularly useful would be an open document format or PDF. Thanks! |

Thank you @jniles for starting a discussion on this. However for PDF we have found it to be more challenging as we cannot simply parse it to html but rather need to use a PDF viiewer for inline coding. |

we also shoud have a look at the ZOTERO pdf reader implementation, as this is tasty good and i consume nearly all journal paper pdf inside zotero https://github.com/zotero/reader |

We currently support text and RTF documents and are planning to add support for more formats soon, see #70
