Memory leaks are quite possible. Since you mentioned the web server, I have just pushed an update of the bundled copy of cpp-httplib to the latest release (see 5a5eef9). It was 4 years old, and the release history mentions memory leaks a few times. |

Before the latest improvements, I have noticed a very peculiar behavior with Zeal when left open, in idle mode.
After some hours left opened, I would notice a weird lagging on my system and would check my task manager, only to find out zeal devours memory without (apparent) reason.
The usual suspect is the following behavior: you open zeal, you search for something and then you close the tab window while you leave zeal open sitting idle.
After hours, you decide to run a new search; that's when you realize something is off.
I have managed to catch a snippet of candidate reason, but I have no evidence to justify my finding; it's the local web server service that starts to load the offline content, but remains open in the background, until I close zeal and reopen it.
Any idea what would cause this @trollixx?
