RecessedRing does not work

I installed the latest version but also rolled the last commits back to avoid the connect1Length must be a number.

I am building a hose adapter with a magnetic flange.
I defined a magnetic flange on connector 2 and defined a recessed alignment ring. When building the model it always has a protruding alignment ring. If you define no alignment ring the model is built correctly with no ring, but otherwise it always builds one.

Please let me know if you need anything additionally.

I can see the issue here. The script support three unique connectors.

• Connector 1 is down the bottom.
• Connector 2 is up the top.
• Connector 3 is centre for a multi connector.

I believe the issue here is that you are setting the Alignment ring on connector 2, but looking at connector 1.
Where did you download that version from, I need to update it, its a bit old.

From Github, but I had to revert back to the previous commit(s) because I got the integer error, and I saw the previous ticket where someone rolled back to make it work.

Awesome, thanks I try that. If you don't mind I have another question unrelated to the issue. I am building this mag. flange adapters for building hoses I can easily disconnect from my equipment and move to other equipment. I created a mag flange that will be attached to another regular flange and slide into each other between the two hose connectors as these go through a piece of wood 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. My problem is that the size of the mag flange never exactly meets the size and position of the magnets of my previously built one although I have the specs of the mag flange identical to the others just the length of the hose adapter etc. is different. How can I ensure that they are identical?

Oh that's not good.
Can you share the config and I will take a look.
Are they off by a little bit or a lot?

There was a recent change discussed in another ticket. Many people want to make adapters for imperial systems, however OpenSCAD is all metric. I changed the length and diameter of the adapters to support both metric and imperial values. This changed the value from a number to a list of two numbers. It breaks loading saved settings for those values.

In short you need to manually re enter the values.
