I seem to be experiencing the same issue on MacOS, it works fine on iOS/iPadOS but on MacOS (latest stable release) I am not able to connect - logs say it can't resolve the hostname. On same computer with same config openvpn connect client has no issues (passpartout has the same issue with openvpn and wireguard config, not just openvpn). If you need further data/logs let me know where to post, don't want to show non-obfuscated data on the public forum. |

Summary
I have Passepartout installed on my Macbook Pro and my iPhone. I have the On-Demand set for when I leave home. However, the app has trouble connecting when entering a new location because it can't resolve the server IP. If I set the server endpoint as an IP in the config (instead of a domain name), it connects fine.
Steps to reproduce
Try to connect using a hostname in the WG (or OpenVPN) config.
What is the current bug behavior?
DNS lookup fails. If config uses an IP instead of hostname, connection is fine. If Passepartout is turned off briefly (so DNS lookups are allowed over the new host?), then connection succeeds.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Should be some way to allow DNS lookups when reconnecting.
Relevant logs and/or screenshots
App version 3.6.1 (3958).
