Description
Some PingOne applications can be created using predefined configurations via the Application Catalog in the UI. These applications are initially assigned the TEMPLATE_APP type upon creation. However, certain properties cannot be updated unless the application type is changed to WEB_APP. This is due to the configuration no longer aligning with the original Catalog Application.
How to Manage Application Catalog App in the Provider
To update any properties, you must either select "Enable Advanced Configuration" in the application's Configuration tab within the PingOne UI (see screenshot below) or change the application’s type to WEB_APP.
Note: This must be done before attempting terraform import for the managed resource.
