Missing functionality for my use-case. Do I fork and make my own?

For Planka to be usable for my freelance business, I need a few things that (I think) are not already in the app.

1. Ability to view total time clocked for a project.
2. Ability to add hours allowed/purchased by clients (so I can have a counter like "you have worked 27 / 30 hours"
3. Remove ability for a single user to have multiple clocks running (if task 1 has a clock on it, and I start a clock on task 2, task 1 clock should stop since I am only one person)

For something like this, can I fork Planka and make my own?
