esp32 dev board fails to flash using web tool

hi,
i was trying to flash the esp32 dev board that i had with this tool to use it as a security key, but the web flasher just says can't connect no other info.
tried to see if i can get the firmware but no luck the docs are of no help and there is nothing seams to be about it on internet.
is there a way to get the firmware and flash it locally or at least a way to build it?
the esp32 board just works fine with arduino IDE and i even try to put it on flash mode by holding flash and hitting the reset button which works cause it shows waiting for download when i do that if i use serial monitor on it.
