I love the library and all its capabilities. I am working on a project to play music and drive a LED light strip with patterns from the music stream. Pins pins and more pins, I have see the file AudioToolsConfig.h. I am sure that is used but there is no config for an S3 (different GPIOs) and have yet to locate any docs explaining how to set this up for my MCU-1334 UDA1334A I2S Stereo Decoder DAC..
Any help would be 150% appreciated

Thank you sir, I will give that a try. I think I was overthinking this. The UDA1334A has Pins related to video I can simply ignore them For my project

Only issue I am running into is the Config shows
#define PIN_I2S_BCK 6
#define PIN_I2S_WS 7
#define PIN_I2S_DATA_OUT 8
#define PIN_I2S_DATA_IN 9

when I connect I2S_DATA_OUT 8 to the I2S board, all I got was loud buzzing from one speaker. Any thoughts to what I am doing wrong?

The other config shows
#define PIN_I2S_BCK 14
#define PIN_I2S_WS 15
#define PIN_I2S_DATA_IN 32
#define PIN_I2S_DATA_OUT 22
However the ESP32S2 does not have a GPIO 22

As you can read in the Wiki, I recommend to change the pins in the sketch via the I2S config.

If it is not working you have a pin conflict, you did not connect the pins correctly our ignored some other recommendations given in the Wiki (e.g. i2s_format).

Just follow the documentation giving in the Wiki and try to start with the most simple sketch before adding more complexity

Thank you for your patience with me Mr. Schatzmann,
My pc is old and run by mice spinning a wheel and I am not much better. I come from a C#.net world so much of this C++ hurts my head.
I think a simple code i.e. streams-url_mp3-metadata2.ino would let me test my hardware and config. I know you have put a lot of time and work into your development. As an old man I try to be more patient. Anything you need, test compiles or configs please let me know and I will test for you. Let me know what would be a good starting point to use. The sine wave worked well but need to test my I2S module and amp out to speakers

Doing the best I can. I tried a brand new I2S UDA1334A Module board and a new amp board..
I added in a short bit of code to cross check my pins

where I could check my pins ( PIN_I2S_DATA_OUT should go to data in of the I2S Module board)

You do mention that the UDA1334A DACs from Adafruit have a different byte and to use

The simple sketch /Main.ccp I am trying to run is audio-tools/examples\examples-stream\streams-memory_raw-i2s\StarWars30.h
The initial settings are
i2s.i2s_format = I2S_STD_FORMAT;
MemoryStream music(StarWars30_raw, StarWars30_raw_len);
StreamCopy copier(i2s, music); // copies sound into i2s

So curious where I would alter the code to use / insert the code for "config.i2s_format = I2S_LSB_FORMAT;"
