Error serializing package 'pp'

I’m trying to develop a package and spend a lot of time in the developer tools. The console fills up with many instances of the following message:

The error occurs after a small delay when I right-click on something, such as the text editor, a tab, or in the modal panel area.

I can’t trouble-shoot this, since I have no idea what the error is referring to, and the code seems to be somewhere in the core.

I might add that there is a reference to /Users/mark/.atom/packages/pp/lib/pp.coffee:489:5 . I’ve checked and the .atom directory doesn’t exist.

Any suggestions?
