GUI unstoppable

When I make a run within the GUI MOST of the times the application is unstoppable.

• The stop button won't stop the run
• The X in the window won't close
• Even CTRL c in terminal won't halt the app
• Only kill -9 will
  Fedora 35, tested on two different computers.

Thanks for opening this! A similar issue has been opened before; Have you tried increasing the Time Per Frame under Advanced to a higher number (eg. 2500)?

When I increase the value (tried 2500 up to 5000) I still cannot stop the process so I can export the result.
What does work though is quitting the app by CTRL C or with X in the GUI.
I would like to export the image though.
