Dynamic Photo Matte? #365
Description
On my deployment of the site photos.kunwarsahni.com I have mostly uploaded vertical photos. And I really enjoy the look of the site especially on mobile.
However on desktop in "full" mode I feel it would be better, to see at least one entire vertical image at a time. Currently in "full" mode on desktop you can't see one whole vertical image on the screen, you have to scroll. I have tried the Matte option but then I feel like it really takes away from the site on mobile.
It's also a little confusing because one would assume that clicking on a photo and going to its individual page would show the whole photo without matte or scroll regardless of if its vertical.
I implemented NEXT_PUBLIC_MATTE_PHOTOS_DESKTOP here: kunwarsahni01#1 but I feel like this is a half solution. Ideally desktop gets some sort of better treatment especially for the "full" mode.
Hopefully this makes sense, and thanks for all of your work on this project, I really do love it.
