It seems to me we need an alias-aware way to handle contacts as contacts. When we want to email someone off the bat, we don't think I must email such and such an alias, but we think about them as a person or organisation. We need to be able to go there first, and then be able to see their addresses as sender/alias pairs for selection. |

Dear SL community,
How can I find the alias for which a reverse alias was created? I have multiple reverse aliases for one specific recipient and over 300 aliases. But I can't remember for which aliases I created those contacts.
I contacted a friend from multiple aliases. So I have multiple contacts/reverse-aliases like this:
But just from the random gibberish suffix alone, I can't figure out which reverse-alias is which. Neither the SL web app nor the extension seem to have a functionality to do that reverse search.
Example
When typing their name in a new email in Proton, the already contacted addresses are suggested. But from the reverse-alias itself I can't tell to which alias the contact belongs:
Searching for that contact name in SL doesn't yield any result:
One option would probably be to rename the contacts in Proton to also have the alias in the display name. But the problem still remains if I don't know which alias was used and I don't want to go through 300+ alias checking all their contacts...
