First, I just want to start by saying a huge thank you for creating and maintaining this incredible product. I've been running it in a self-hosted setup (currently on 3.4.0) and am genuinely grateful for the powerful tool you've made available.
As a dedicated self-hoster, I'm very interested in keeping my instance up-to-date to take advantage of all the new features and improvements.
This is where I've run into a small challenge: I noticed that the official docs/upgrade.md file (and other setup guides) clearly describe the upgrade path up to version 3.4.0, but I couldn't find any documentation on the recommended steps to upgrade from 3.4.0 to the newer 4.x or latest versions.
This upgrade gap is what led me to look for the project's roadmap, as I'm very excited about the direction the app is heading. Unfortunately, the roadmap link in the README.md also seems to be inactive.
This makes it a bit difficult for me to find a safe and documented procedure to upgrade our instances, and follow the project's direction for future features.
I was politely wondering if you could provide any guidance on this?
Is there an official or recommended path for upgrading a self-hosted instance from the 3.4.0 (docker run) setup to the modern docker-compose (:latest) setup?
Is there a new public roadmap where we can follow what's planned for the self-hosted community?
No pressure at all, but any insight or documentation you could provide would be incredibly helpful.
Thank you again for your time and for this fantastic project! 😊
