Questions about Custom Domains on Protonmail / SimpleLogin

Hello all,

I have been using Protonmail and latterly Simplelogin for some time, though only with the provided domains.

I am now considering moving a custom domain to Protonmail, but am not sure (and cannot find in the FAQ's) how this will interact with Simplelogin.

My questions are …

1. If I configure a custom domain in Protonmail, will it appear automatically in Simplelogin ?

2. Subdomains are limited in Simplelogin when using the Simplelogin domains. Does this limit apply when a custom domain is configured ? I.e. If I have mydomain.com configured and add sub.mydomain.com do I use one of my five allowed sub domains?

3. I have more aliases than Protonmail's allowance. I want to create all my custom domains aliases in Simplelogin and route them to one address in Proton. Will this affect my Proton alias count ?

If someone can direct me to a support page or provide an insight that would be great.

1. No, Proton domains are independent from SL ones
2. Subdomains only use domains provided by SL
3. No, they are independent.
