Thank you for your great library. In order to have the recyclerView adapter

adapter.stateRestorationPolicy = StateRestorationPolicy.PREVENT_WHEN_EMPTY

the bump to latest recyclerview version could be great.

Here is the reason: Restore RecyclerView scroll position from Florina Muntenescu.

As I saw that your last commits are from few years from now, I allowed myself to publish a new library based on your great work.

Feel free to copy this repo to improve your library. What has been done:

• Bump recyclerView
• Move from Java to Kotlin
• Remove kotlin DSL support
• Change the build system from groovy to kotlin
• Simplify the sample

I will be more than happy to help you (and delete this "Mercandj/recyclerview-adapter" project)
