Once you connect an external EMS like Bliq to the RS485 port, it becomes the only Modbus master. You’ve basically handed full control of your inverter to another system. If you want manual charge/discharge control again, the EMS would need to be disconnected. — stanus74 |

EMS is displayed in my elekeeper app if I discharge or charge with my electricity supplier app. I think why you are seeing this because your supplier is using their EMS system to control your battery. Unfortunately this locks you out from controlling your battery while active. |

The issue #40 I opened about half a year ago (limiting export to grid) worked fine for me with the Bliq EMS connected. But the Elekeeper app didn't show me "EMS mode" which it does now. So there has been a change but I don't exactly know when the change happened or where in the chain This was before the change (no EMS mode to be seen) and was able to control the Inverter using HA while the Bliq EMS was connected. After the change I now see EMS mode |

Hi,
I have been using this integration for a while now.
But lately I've been noticing that I can't control anything.
I have seen something new in the Elekeeper app that the battery is in EMS mode.
This is probably because of the so called "Bliq Vanger" which is connected over RS485 to the inverter.
The EMS is sending commands to the inverter to charge/discharge based on what my electricity company needs it to do (grid balancing)
For this control they provide a way to earn something extra with other electricity markets (for the dutchies see: https://www.frankenergie.nl/nl/slimme-producten/thuisbatterijen)
I'm looking for a way to be able to charge/discharge the battery using the integration without unplugging the RS485 manually.
Since I saw some discussion about a so called eManager (wich is a EMS if I'm not mistaken?) maybe there is someone who has this scenario and could provide some info about it how it works.
The EMS in question is this one: https://bliq.energy/nl/producten/bliq-energie-management-systeem/ (also in dutch)
