2.7.0 - Config host changed from correct IP to 192.168.1.73 after update to 2.7.0

I'm not quite sure how but the latest update is forcing the integration polling ip to 192.168.1.73 - which was not the IP I had setup and working with my SAJ H2. Perhaps in the update test somethign occured which locked this IP address? I wonder if others are experiencing a similar issue.

More Details:

After updating the SAJ H2 Modbus custom integration to v2.7.0 via HACS, my existing config entry had its host IP silently changed.

Environment

• Home Assistant: core 2025.x.x (Supervisor / OS install)
• SAJ H2 Modbus integration: 2.7.0 (via HACS)
• Inverter model: SAJ H2
• Connection: Modbus TCP on port 502

What happened

• Before the update, the integration had been working reliably for months.

• The inverter has a DHCP reservation on my router at 192.168.1.98, which has not changed (locked by MAC address).

• Immediately after updating to 2.7.0, the integration failed with errors:

  • Failed to set up SAJ Modbus hub: Failed to connect to 192.168.1.73:502
  • Update cycle failed: Failed to connect to 192.168.1.73:502

• When I checked the integration config entry in Home Assistant, the host was now set to 192.168.1.73 instead of 192.168.1.98.

• My router still showed the SAJ device at 192.168.1.98, and ping to .98 worked as expected.

Steps to fix

1. I removed the existing SAJ H2 Modbus integration entry in Home Assistant.
2. I re-added it manually, specifying 192.168.1.98 as the host.
3. After that, the integration connected immediately and everything works again.

Expected behaviour

• Updating to 2.7.0 should preserve the existing host/IP in the config entry.
• The integration should not change the host to a different IP (192.168.1.73) on its own.

Suspicion

This looks like a config entry migration or default value in 2.7.0 is overwriting the stored host with 192.168.1.73. If there is a migration step or default like:

host = options.get("host", "192.168.1.73")

After update all my entities became unavailable. I haven't checked but it definitely seems like what you say
