Discharging limit to 20% does not really work

Hello,

I have recognized, that my battery not really stops supplying power at 20% charge as I have set it up. Over time it loses some percent and goes even down until 5%. I fear that my battery System loses some lifetime during winter now. Is there anything I could do to prevent this from happening? Can I somehow block battery use completely (without turning off the battery by hand, since I am not at home during the winter 😃).

In the eSolar SET app, you can set the "Battery SOC Retention" value under Battery Parameters, which should not be fallen below.
Only SAJ knows if it really works.

I recharge the battery when it reaches 15%—this is also a good idea to be prepared for power outages.

Thank you. I think the app can only be used via Bluetooth or local wifi, correct? So I will go with the recharge as soon as battery reached 15%, like you did. Unfortunately. So this SOC retention value can’t be edited via the modbus then, correct?
