Article List in Receipts are not correct when using sumupmerchant deeplink

Hi,

i have been contacting the sumup support though their official support channels before, however it seems the regular support chat can't really help my inquiry is not being addressed.

So I am generating a payment via my Web-App on a Mobile Device, just like it is described in the documentation, which opens the Sumup App initiating a Payment on my Sumup Air / Solo asking for the correct payment sum.

However, on the transaction list, as well as the receipts for the customers - the Total is correct, but the list of articles which we are creating though "title" and "amount" in the sumupmerchant deeplink is not correct.

To me it seems:

• the decimals are shifted?
• or the value is being used as an integer (e.g. 1000 = 10 €) so in the example below it may think it's 12 => so 0.12€

The callback URL and every other parameter is working flawless. Obviously I am also delivering the amount sum with decimals.

The same issue exists on Android and there is already an issue in the Android Repo from November 2024 (sumup/sumup-android-api#36).

Any chance SumUp will adress this in the near future?

The support team got back to me saying they are working on a fix, without having a estimate timeframe. It's possible to use it as it is, but it just doesn't appear very professional towards the customer if the sums are not matching up, so unless it's fixed, i would disregard using those features.

Ok, thank you that's good to know.
But I totally agree with you there are too many bugs in this feature that make it basically unusuable (at least in germany).

We really wanted to integrate this feature into our SaaS, but there are too many things missing and looking at the Github Issues dates it looks like SumUp stopped working on the feature.

If anyone from SumUp reads this:

• The subitem price is displayed incorrectly which generates wrong receipts and can you get into trouble as a business owner in germany.
• No taxes are applied to API Switch prices/totals which also gets you into serious trouble.
• It's not possible to apply tips (which are usually not taxed, thus they must be handled differently)
• Only one item can be added to a checkout
• No discounts can be added (again we need proper receipts that also display the discount rate)
