Description

I'm sorry I need to give feedback on a problem with Chinese locale computer support.

If the region of the computer is set to "Chinese (Simplified)", SMA will have a bunch of messy codes when importing and extracting PDFs and chrome pages.

messy code:

If you switch to "English (US)", this problem is solved. But at the same time, many other software used in Chinese environment has the problem of garbled code, which is a bit like you cannot have it both ways.

other software: (Someone in the community was affected by this problem while working all afternoon yesterday...)

This is a bit like the problem of Japanese Galgame games that need to be region-shifted, but after I tried all the region-shifting tools, like Locale Emulator and Ntleas, this problem still can't be solved, and all the tools don't work for SMA.

I have tried everything and feel exhausted. On behalf of the many Chinese community users who desperately need SMA, I would like to ask you, Alexis, to help solve this big problem.

Steps to Reproduce

6

  1. change region to Chinese(Simplified,China)
    7

Expected behavior

Everything is back to the normal import look, no messy code.
