Firstly, really like what you are doing here. Hope the project becomes a huge success.
Is there any chance you may open source the website code? I am a fan of your website docs platform and would like to be able to write docs with the Sveltia CMS. I can setup a simple SSG docs project such as Vitepress or Starlight but I don't know how to integrate the CMS and seeing the code might help with this. If not, is there any chance you could describe how you integrated your CMS with your docs?

The site repository will be made public in a few weeks, once all small edits have been completed. It’s just a VitePress site. I haven’t integrated Sveltia CMS yet. Just editing Markdown directly in VS Code.

Actually, https://github.com/sleakops/docs has a better configuration, though it’s a Docusaurus site. It’s better to create an entry collection for each folder, including the root, rather than hardcoding all the files in a file collection.

Thank you. This is hugely helpful. One thing that has become clear to me after hours of research, is that there is quite a disconnect between visual/WYSIWYG function and static, structured documentation (paid SaaS options aside). But this tool is a really good start.

I am studying the collection and it seems there is indeed an entry for each folder. This would mean a non-dev user wouldn't be able to create a new folder in the side bar within the CMS. Is my assumption correct? But the CMS would allow the non-devs to create a new single page entry in the sidebar - very helpful.

End-users would be able to create folders once Sveltia CMS implements nested collections. This is one of our unimplemented features from Netlify/Decap CMS — it will be added to Sveltia CMS 2.0.
