Has goal (P3712) #6
Description
Currently "has goal" (P3712) statements on research expedition items in Wikidata are inconsistent, badly modelled and are in need of guidance for best practice.
As at 12 May 2025 there are 31 research expedition items with "has goal" statements. See this Wikidata query. One of the issues related to this issue is the depreciation of the Wikidata property "of".
The group needs to reach consensus on how these statements are modelled and then apply the same to existing properties.
The methods of modelling this data should be quantified and best practice guidance needs to be provided to editors.
