Missing href in menu-flyout-item?

I use the scale design in combination with blazor and wonder if there is a reason why in the menu-flyout-item component has no href - contrary to all other navigation components.

I try to add flyout elements to the nav-icon section additionally to the icon users navigation.
the flyout is accessible by arrow keys, but without additional event-handling is no obvious redirect / link possible.

To make it short: Is this parameter / attribute missing because of reasons or is the request worth it to become a feature request?

Possibly I found a work around that feels not that pretty: #915
as direct href on the tags looks much nicer

I currently found no way to handle the original click-event to redirection to another blazor-page ... .
