Summary

I have a ESP8685-WROOM-03 which is ESP32-C3 based - When I initially connect to the device I get the above error. Works fine with esptool.py

Different package (ESP32-C2) but same issue.

WebSerial ESPTool loaded.

esptool works, so anything I can learn from that that might be helpful?

Appears to be fixed in the tasmota package, test it here https://thelastoutpostworkshop.github.io/ESPConnect/preview/ (v1.1.8-preview-2 or >) you may have to hard refresh the browser
