KTreeSitter-plugin incomplete Documentation

I want to add grammer of multiple langauges to my kotlin application but i dont know how to do it

probelem:
i search for compiled lib files but not found
i tried to compile grammer from source using KTreeSitter-plugin but didnt get how to do it

Request:

please write a proper documentaion build official langauge grammers to my kotlin application

@ObserverOfTime If you are unable to update docuentation or if any problem with KTreeSitter plugin , please then guide me to compile and add it manually please i need it

Been having the same issues with trying to use the plugin. Not sure if I need to have a certain configuration, if I need multiplatform, etc. Would be a huge benefit for getting this plugin more used if documentation was updated. I've been having a ton of issues trying to use it and it led to some error with requiring the kmp plugin and even then it doesn't seem to work at all when trying to use it. Would I need to use the plugin in a submodule that contains a tree-sitter grammar repo to reference to? Would the KTreeSitter dependency then use the generated files?

No the Plugin is broken no chance.
When the plugin doesnt work you need to create Android Libary files manually.

@AegisDevel for context I've been trying to use it in a compose for desktop environment. Not sure if it just won't work period then and I'd need to do something like make my own bindings

Oh interesting im writing a code editor and am not using the plugin, no reason why manually building the so files from "scratch" or tree-sitter grammar shouldnt work, well maybe you think about not sure if the JNI bridge tells you something.
Maybe you could even code the CMake yourself @Jolvera2001

To be more precise i managed to use Grammar i compiled to use with the KTreesitter libary, and when you compile your desktop application it certainly will do syntax highlighting. Its working like a charm !
Just the AST dont want to show yet.
If you want i can tell how i made it !

@AegisDevel Sure, if that's fine with you. I was planning on some approach using Rust and JNI since Rust already has a better crate ecosystem relating to TreeSitter

@Jolvera2001 if you want to implement syntax highlighting, you can rather use Textmate , use TM4E with vscode themes and language files

@subham008 that's probably a better starting point for me honestly. If this plugin ever gets updated or I figure out another way to use treesitter, at least I'll have something built out for me to change easily. I appreciate it

can someone who successfully got a grammar file to compile write a doco so we can leap lightyears ahead in terms of effort and start working with this library lol

When the library is fully working it will be integrated in the generated bindings. Be patient until then.
