LinkedIn Login only partially implemented?

The option to use a LinkedIn login is present but does not appear to be very happy. The scope needs to be set to r_liteprofile not r_basicprofile for the authorisation, but then something breaks later in the 3 leg exchange which results in an HTML 404 page response from LinkedIn (The one with the telescope scanning the sky) rather than a json response.

Should it work?
