[Feature] Enable/disable scroll performance that delay code block syntax highlight when scrolling since version 1.9.3

Hi,
In version 1.9.3 such improvement was added:

I assume that this is a reason why whenever I scroll through the document that contain many code blocks, their syntax highlight is delayed, meaning that when scrolling I do not see syntax colors e.g. I see :

instead of seeing:

The colors appear only after I stop scrolling, with a delay of about 0.5-1 second.
This is why I stick to version 1.8.10, where scrolling doesn’t affect syntax highlighting and the user experience is much better.

Did I correctly identify that the cause of this behavior is the improved scroll performance feature?
If so, could you add a settings toggle that allows users to enable or disable this option?

EDIT: I use windows 10 x64.
