My name is Nikita Pandey, a B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) student with experience in:
MERN Stack
Java
Python
SQL
Backend development
Data structures & algorithms
I am interested in contributing to the Big Data Analytics project for GSoC 2026.
I have reviewed the project description and would like to begin contributing and understanding the expected deliverables.

Could you please guide me on:

Where is the development repo/codebase for this project maintained?
Beginner-friendly tasks or areas I should explore first?
Are there any specific tools, datasets, or technologies I should set up before I start?

I am unsure which "big data analytics project" you are referring to.
The project ideas are listed in https://github.com/uaanchorage/GSoC and under each project idea the link to the project repository and discussion forum in listed. Once you are in the respective project page, you will be able to find the answers to your questions (or ask those questions in the respective discussion forums of that project.).
