Add catalog import

Why

This is the most important feature IMO. Rather than CSS, Firmware and playlist, we need to have a way to easily tap in the +600 plugins/extensions/etc. I've spent 2 days to figure that out on my own and now, within 5 minutes of installing byos-laravel I already have everything that I needed because I can tap in the OSS Catalog of plugins

+1 - I also have just found out about the project and after reading the extensive documentation deployed TRMNL on kindle and byos_hanami as it seemed to be most feature complete according to the matrix in docs and left quite disappointed after finding out that "extensions" is not the same as plugins and I cannot use any of those 600+ plugins, but would have to implement screens manually.

Most likely I will just buy the BYOD license and use proxy mode, but having that fully independent would be great.

I was able to use the byos_laravel quite quick and easy @skrobul , I recommend you check it out before buying the license

@maxforasteiro yeah, I've already tried it based on your first comment (thanks!). It allowed me to start testing and it works but eventually I'll buy a license anyway as I want to support the project and probably will use oauth2 for calendars.

To reduce some confusion and provide additional context, Terminus started out as a complement to TRMNL, not a replacement of. This is why plugin support was late to be folded in (i.e. end of last year).

While off to a slow start there is a lot of good news to share in the days and weeks to come which is to add the following features (this is a rough outline so some things might shift/change as this evolves):

• Add extension import and export (this includes conversion from/to TRMNL plugins).
• Add extension OAuth, webhook, and calendar support.
• Update extension tooling so the UX/DX is improved.
• Add native extensions (both in terms of what's in Core but also tapping into Hanami slice capabilities which means you can add additional CLI, UI, and API components).

The reason why Terminus uses extension terminology is because extensions are meant to be a superset of Core plugins. This is an important distinction because there are things we can do in the BYOS space that isn't possible on Core. I'm most excited about this aspect this most because this will empower you (and the rest of the community) to build a lot more interesting things for your devices. 🚀

Update: Partial support for the catalog has been released, today, in Version 0.45.0. You can browse, search, and interact with the entire catalog via the Extensions Gallery. The plumbing for import is also nearly finished but I need to iron out a few compatibility issues before making available.
