Add an fcitx engine

fcitx is an alternative to IBus that works better on Plasma, is lighter and performs better. Supporting it would improve the experience greatly. For example, Swanalekha already supports fcitx through fcitx-m17n.

How difficult would it be to make an fcitx engine ?

I don't know but I was hoping to look into it and kept some links bookmarked. But now I don't think I'll have the time to do this.
