Deadlines for Veronica

Below are some of the features that I'd like to have done by the showcase:

• add/remove users
• access control for conversations
• Messaging other users privately(perhaps taken care of by creating a private conversation and adding the other user?)

Reach goals

• editing/deleting messages
• replying to a message/ liking a message
• uploading profile pictures
• sharing files(images and textfile to start with)

I love the enthusiasm, but this seems a little ambitious to me?
How about we pick two or three of these as high-profile features that we really want to deliver, and focus on those deadlines? The rest can be stretch goals.

Okay, I'll keep working on add/remove, access control and private messaging. Maybe the rest can be reach goals.

@yebrahim @lealgamb @jasminechau2 I'm not sure whether to keep working on access control(allowing only the creator of a conversation to add/remove people) or implement one of the reach goals above or work on implementing the bootstrap design. What do you guys think would be more relevant for us?

That’s really up to you of course.

Since the focus of this project is learning, I would encourage you to pick an area you’re least familiar with, and that you want to play around with a little more. Uploading pictures, sending files, maybe emojis or some more frontend work can be examples of that.

I agree with Yasser. If you want a change from what you are doing right now it would be good to try to do one of the stretch goals.
