How to filter posts by tag?

I'm trying to show the last 3 blog posts with a specific tag on non-blog-post pages such as the homepage, how do I do that? I could show blog posts of specific categories like this:

[blogPosts featurePosts]
categoryFilter = "featured-blogs"

{% partial "blog-section"
   posts=featurePosts.posts
%}

How do I achieve similar things with tags?

[blogTagSearch byTag]
tag = "tag-i-want"
postPage = "blog/post"
categoryPage = "tag"

{% partial "blog-section"
   posts=byTag.posts
%}
