When you download manga from one source and that source gets shutdown (A lot of my downloaded manga was from mangakakalot) other sources has the manga and updated chapters.
The issue is you can't use the already downloaded manga to continue with another source as it won't register, I'd have to Re download all the manga for it to be under the same manga box.
I would recommend adding an option where you're able to add fileextention source INTO an online one that way you can add chapters 1-100 and in the future from that new source itll add chapter 100+ when released and be under the same section and easily be able to change the source for mainitain
