interface not responsive

When changing chromosomes the interface is not very responsive. Persists for a couple of seconds

Hi, this is because the database queries / api requests are blocking now. Definitely can use improvement.

My dev time is limited. If anyone wants to take on optimization work, feel free to jump in.

Hi, try caching in the latest release. tgv should run much faster. Let me know how it works!
