Higgsfield AI Scam - Research & Documentation

A comprehensive collection of research, evidence, and documentation exposing alleged fraudulent practices, product misrepresentation, ethical violations, and consumer exploitation by Higgsfield AI.

Looking for a free alternative to Higgsfield AI? Use Open Higgsfield AI — an open-source tool that gives you direct access to the same AI video models (Kling, Minimax, Wan, Hunyuan, and more) without the 4.5x markup, bans, or scams. Free. No subscription traps. No stolen accounts. Just the actual models.

Table of Contents

Company Background & Funding

Higgsfield AI launched in October 2023 with a pitch: instead of subscribing to five different AI video tools separately, get them all in one place. One subscription, everything included.

The founder, Alex Mashrabov, had previously sold his AI company to Snapchat for $166 million in 2020. This time, he was building what's known as a "wrapper service" — a platform that doesn't create its own AI, but packages other companies' tools together. You pay Higgsfield, they send your request to other companies' AI models (Kling, Minimax, Google, OpenAI's Sora, etc.), and you get your video back.

Funding timeline:

  • April 2024: $8 million seed round
  • September 2025: $50 million Series A at a $1 billion valuation
  • January 2026: $80 million extension

Total funding exceeded $130 million, with a valuation hitting $1.3 billion. The company claimed 15 million users and $200 million in annual revenue — growth that allegedly doubled from $100 million in just eight weeks. Plans ranged from $75 to $250 per month, with the big promise being "unlimited" video generations.

As The Register noted, Higgsfield was essentially charging premium prices for access to tools users could subscribe to directly — often far cheaper. Projects like Open Higgsfield AI now make this even more obvious — offering free, open-source access to the same models Higgsfield charges $75–$250/month for.

The Subscription Scam & Mass Bans

Account Suspended, Battery System, and Trustpilot Reviews Account suspensions, the "battery" throttle system, and Trustpilot backlash

The Bait: "Unlimited" Plans

Higgsfield Unlimited Plan Pricing - 80% OFF Bait Higgsfield's "Nano Banana Pro 365 Unlimited - 80% OFF" Christmas pricing page

Trustpilot review exposing fake "unlimited" offer Trustpilot review (Jan 29, 2026): "Scam / Super unhappy with the service. Fell for their 'one year unlimited' Offer — turned out most were not for one year but only valid for days."

Higgsfield offered unlimited creativity plans wrapped in Black Friday and holiday discounts. Thousands of creators purchased what they believed was an unlimited access tool. The promise: an annual subscription for "unlimited banana" featuring eight simultaneous generations.

December 19th: The Blackout Begins

While the world was preparing for the holidays, Higgsfield unilaterally changed the rules. Without warning, the "unlimited dream" turned into a digital nightmare. The official Discord became a crime scene - searching the word "ban" revealed an overwhelming number of reports. From every corner of the globe, the story was the same: accounts frozen, access denied.

The bans dragged on for seven days in a slow-motion, systematic purge. Some users managed to file appeals. One creator from Spain waited 5 days for a resolution, only to be hit with a final refusal on Christmas Day.

December 25-26th: Mass Account Purge

On the night between December 25th and 26th, the situation hit a breaking point. While users in Europe, Asia, and America had been getting picked off quietly, this night saw a total massacre of accounts with Russian IPs. The official excuse: "suspicious payment activity."

Discord mass ban reports from users Discord screenshots from Dec 26-29, 2025: Multiple users reporting mass bans — one user paid $900 and was locked out with 8 days of commercial work they couldn't download

These weren't just warnings - these were total lockouts. Users were stripped of their accounts, unable to even download the work they had already generated. Higgsfield went completely radio silent with no official statements or comments.

Employee Misconduct

Screenshots surfaced showing a Higgsfield employee pointing the finger at intermediaries, blaming them for the entire fallout. The same person gave users the middle finger and then denied being on the payroll. However, LinkedIn confirmed he was a partner at the company - denying his own company while insulting customers.

Server Overload & Financial Reality

Evidence suggests Higgsfield's servers were buckling under the load. The math on the unlimited subscriptions didn't add up - the unlimited deals were bleeding the company dry. Rather than investing in infrastructure, they chose to purge their own paying users to cut costs. Meanwhile, tools like Open Higgsfield AI let you use the exact same AI models directly — no middleman that can ban you on a whim.

The "Battery" System: Killing Unlimited

The unlimited "banana" plan was killed. In its place, Higgsfield introduced the "battery" - a system designed to throttle usage:

  1. Original promise: Unlimited plan with 8 simultaneous generations
  2. First cut: Slashed to 4 simultaneous generations
  3. Final squeeze: Choked down to 2 simultaneous generations
  4. The battery: After using your "unlimited" plan for a while, you get locked out and hit with a restriction. Their solution? Pay an extra $5 to keep working. Refuse, and you're left waiting indefinitely.

The Rigged Safety Filter

In unlimited mode, prompts get flagged and blocked for "safety violations." But the exact same prompt in paid mode passes instantly. This is a fake barrier designed to offload server costs and force users to pay more.

User Rebellion & Fake Reviews

The fury was explosive. Users called for a total boycott and flooded Trustpilot with one-star reviews — the platform now has over 1,047 reviews, with thousands of complaints painting a picture of a company that promised too much and failed too many people. Higgsfield's response: instead of investing in servers, they started buying fake positive reviews to drown out the backlash.

Partial Unbanning & Damage Control

Under crushing public pressure, on December 27th Higgsfield began quietly unbanning accounts. The process was as chaotic and random as the purge itself. They restored the very users they had accused of fraud, proving their excuses about "shady intermediaries" were a smokescreen. They even unbanned people who hadn't filed a single appeal. However, the majority of banned accounts were never restored - not even half of the victims were brought back.

The Moderator Whistleblower

Ukrainian moderator resignation post Discord post by moderator "Luani Corpse": Full resignation statement detailing internal chaos, aggressive marketing, constant ToS rewrites, and the decision to leave both as moderator and user

On the night between December 27th and 28th, a moderator from Ukraine who had been on the front lines for days finally walked away. She had been forced to pedal company lies and manage the fallout under direct orders. Before leaving, she posted a raw, heartbreaking expose condemning the company's disgraceful treatment of users and straight up accusing them of fraud.

Predatory Billing

On December 29th, users were caught in a predatory billing loop while trying to upgrade. Evidence shows one victim was slammed with five separate $39 invoices in a single day, with no refunds in sight.

The Premeditated Long Con

The evidence suggests this wasn't a technical failure - it was a premeditated scheme:

  1. The Bait: Unlimited Black Friday deals with predatory fine print
  2. The Hook: Onboard a massive wave of paying users
  3. The Switch: Change the rules and ban users the moment they start generating
  4. The Squeeze: Slash speeds, introduce the battery, demand an extra $5 for access you already paid for

Add in months of forced annual subscriptions, unpaid contest prizes, and the motive becomes clear.

Unpaid Creator Payments

Higgsfield has a pattern of not paying creators who participated in their promotional campaigns. Creators who completed campaigns — producing content, driving traffic, and lending their credibility — report never receiving the payments they were promised. When these creators reach out on Telegram or Discord to follow up on outstanding payments from old campaigns, they are met with complete silence. No replies, no acknowledgment, no resolution.

This isn't an isolated incident — it's a recurring pattern of exploiting creator labor:

  • Delayed payments that stretch indefinitely with no timeline provided
  • Zero communication on Telegram and Discord when creators ask about owed money
  • Unpaid contest prizes promised during promotional events
  • Creators are effectively used as free marketing, generating content and engagement for Higgsfield with no compensation

The cycle is clear: recruit creators with promises of payment, extract the promotional value of their work, then go dark when it's time to pay up.

Influencer Manipulation

Higgsfield reportedly engages in hit-and-run tactics with influencers. In one case, after an investigator dropped a two-part YouTube expose tearing them apart, Higgsfield actually contacted their inbox asking for an ad spot - demonstrating either incompetence or brazen disregard.

Reddit & Social Media Spam Manipulation

A comprehensive spreadsheet documents a massive coordinated Reddit spam campaign and consumer deception operation:

Scale of the Operation:

  • Over 10,000 deceptive promotional video posts across Reddit and Instagram
  • 100+ confirmed spam posts across 60+ subreddits — with the actual volume estimated at 20-30x higher
  • Targeted communities include r/generativeAI, r/ChatGPT, r/StableDiffusion, r/AIVideoTrends, and dozens of other AI-related subreddits

Identified Spam Accounts:

  • naviera101 — moderator of r/aicuriosity, 11+ promotional posts
  • Educational-Pound269/270/271 — network of numbered accounts, 8+ posts
  • ThisIsCodeXpert — 7+ posts
  • The-BusyBee — 9+ posts
  • uniquegyanee — 8+ posts
  • la_dehram — 7+ posts

Stolen & Compromised Reddit Accounts:

  • Higgsfield allegedly purchased stolen/compromised Reddit accounts to use for spam promotion
  • One user reported their friend's Reddit account had been stolen and taken over by Higgsfield spammers
  • At least one spammer confirmed they were given an instruction packet before Reddit terminated their accounts
  • Contact u/Significant-Code5855 claimed to have proof of the stolen account operation

Subreddit Censorship (r/HiggsfieldAI):

  • Half the volume of r/HiggsfieldAI is inorganic (spam), the other half is complaints
  • Negative posts are frequently deleted and complaining users are banned
  • Users who posted warnings about the scam were banned from the subreddit
  • One user noted: "This subreddit is controlled by Higgs. I was banned for warning them"

Paid Spam Squad:

  • Higgsfield allegedly compensates workers in developing regions to post promotional content
  • The spam operation also extended to Instagram with similar deceptive advertising tactics

Severity-Ranked Issues from Community Research:

Severity (1-10) Issue Details
10 Fake "Nano Banana" Uses a cheaper model when it thinks your prompt isn't complicated — not the advertised model
10 Banning High Usage Users Terminates accounts of heavy users to reduce server costs
8 Over-Billing (2x-10x) Reports of duplicate charges; one bill reached $40,000
8 Can't Unsubscribe Users report extreme difficulty canceling subscriptions
8 The "Battery" Recharge mechanism introduced to limit access after "unlimited" backlash
7 False Advertising "Unlimited" plan throttled to 1/100th of advertised capacity
7 Buying Stolen Accounts Purchased compromised Reddit accounts for promotion

6 Instagram Spam Similar deceptive advertising campaign on Instagram
5 False FOMO Three-month ongoing "limited" sale presented as daily deals
4 Paying Off Influencers Compensates influencers regardless of actual product use
3 Spam Squad Pays workers in developing regions for promotional spam

Mass DM Spam Campaign & Creator Exploitation

Creator PSA about Higgsfield mass DMs and non-payment @Web3Maxx on X: "PSA for anyone receiving a DM from Higgsfield: they don't simply don't know how to run a creator program... the main handle is notorious for mass-dming creators AND then not paying them."

Collage of identical template DMs sent to creators Evidence: Multiple creators sharing the same template DM from Higgsfield — identical outreach messages sent at scale across X

Higgsfield launched a massive outreach campaign targeting content creators across Twitter (now X), Instagram, and other platforms. The pattern was simple: find a creator with a following, send a template DM, offer payment for promotional content, and move to the next target. Every creator got the same robotic message — no personalization, no genuine interest in their work — just mass spam dressed up as a "collaboration opportunity."

The Price Lottery:

Payment offers were wildly inconsistent, even among creators with similar follower counts:

  • Small creators (under 10k followers): $20–$100
  • Mid-tier creators (10k–50k): $200–$500
  • Larger creators (50k+): $500–$1,000+

Multiple creators with similar followings received completely different offers, as if Higgsfield was throwing darts at a board to decide what each person was worth.

Creator Ambassador Program:

One creator described participating extensively in Higgsfield's ambassador program, publishing more than 10 promotional posts. She received only about $50 and no additional compensation for further content. After continuing to create promotional material, communication stopped entirely. Attempts to upgrade her account or purchase additional credits went unanswered for months. When she encountered Higgsfield team members at an event in Los Angeles and identified herself as a program creator, the interaction was brief and uncomfortable, with the conversation ending quickly. She continued reaching out but only received automated or promotional messages rather than direct responses.

Twitter/X Account Suspension:

By February 2026, Higgsfield's Twitter account (@higgsfield_ai) was suspended — likely due to the mass DM campaigns and the flood of user complaints.

Damage Control: Soliciting Positive Testimonials

Higgsfield DM to Influencer Direct message from Higgsfield AI to an influencer after the expose — asking for positive quotes to counter backlash

After the expose articles circulated, Higgsfield began DMing influencers with damage control messages:

"An article circulated that outlined several examples of our marketing and used some very strong language. We want you to know that many of those claims are either exaggerated to the harshest interpretation, outdated, or simply untrue. However, there is some truth there as well..."

Key tactics revealed in their outreach:

  • Partial admission: Acknowledging "some truth" to the allegations while downplaying severity
  • Blame shifting: Claiming "much of the backlash in the comments seems to be driven by competitors"
  • Soliciting testimonials: Asking influencers to post positive quotes — "hearing that from you right now would mean a lot and it carries more weight coming from creators than anything we could say ourselves"
  • Community manipulation: Attempting to control the narrative through creator relationships rather than addressing the documented issues

Key Policy Concerns

  1. The Banhammer: They can ban anyone, anytime, for any reason - and they already have
  2. The Refund Wall: Refunds only apply to your first subscription within seven days, and only if you haven't used any credits. Renewals get no refunds, ever
  3. Data Harvesting: Everything you upload becomes theirs. They use your work for training and ads without your permission

Tired of bans, batteries, and billing traps? Switch to Open Higgsfield AI — free, open-source, and built to give you the same AI video models without any of the above.

Product Quality Expose

Previous Testing Results

In prior testing, 10 out of 13 Higgsfield apps completely collapsed. The three that sort of worked were barely functional. Every single one lost to totally free tools.

Camera Tools: "Legendary" Failures

Higgsfield Interface Under Investigation Higgsfield's interface during independent product testing

Higgsfield markets their "DP camera tools" and "legendary camera moves" as their flagship feature. Here's what actually happens:

360 Orbit

The face wobbles, the body melts, and the whole thing looks like it's been faxed three times through a potato. Not a 360 orbit - a "360 tour of facial destruction."

Tilt Up

A basic camera movement that instead applies what amounts to a face-distortion filter. Unusable for any client work.

Arc Right

The camera moves slightly and the face relocates to another dimension.

Super Dolly In

The closer the camera gets, the more the identity glitches frame by frame. Not a dolly in - a "witness protection program in motion."

Dolly Out

Free model: smooth, cinematic, totally usable. Higgsfield: quality drops to "2007 YouTube."

Zoom In

Free model: same girl, same features, same vibe throughout. Higgsfield: subjects change race midway through the shot. The subject starts as one person and halfway through becomes a completely different person.

Camera Pulls Back + Character Walks Forward

Free model: stable outfit, stable face, looks like a real shot. Higgsfield: tights glitch, mesh freaks out, legs turn into a geometry experiment.

Camera Up

Free model: clear, elegant, cinematic. Higgsfield: camera technically moves up, but the character goes straight to uncanny valley.

Deep Down / Dip Moves

Free model: logical camera glide, character stays normal. Higgsfield: artifacts everywhere - demon tights, cursed face, physics that don't make sense.

Camera Tools Summary

AI Body Distortion Glitch Higgsfield camera tool output: body and face distortion artifacts

Face Melting Artifact Higgsfield generation showing severe face-melting artifacts

Every time you touch their camera tools, the subject changes race, age, and sometimes gender mid-shot. They are not offering cinematic cameras for filmmakers - they're offering a random character generator with motion blur. Only about 1 out of 10 camera effects worked even remotely okay, and even when the camera worked, the faces melted, making results completely unusable.

Effects & LoRAs: Repackaged Free Tools

Higgsfield proudly showcases explosions, vampires, angels, and dramatic effects. The reality:

  • These LoRAs are open-source and available for free with a decent PC
  • They can be run up to 100 times cheaper on platforms like RunningHub
  • The same effects are available through hundreds of free alternatives
  • Both Higgsfield's paid effects and the free alternatives need face restoration, so there's no quality advantage to paying

Explosion Effects

  • Free tool: strong blast, stable face, consistent identity, cinema-quality
  • Higgsfield: decent explosion, but the character's face is instantly cursed

Vertical Explosions

  • Free: usable, stylish, coherent
  • Higgsfield: random new person appears in the shot

The Biggest Reveal: They're Not Using Their Own Models

When examining Higgsfield's best-looking transitions and effects, investigation revealed they're not even using their own models:

  • Effects/Transitions: Powered by Kling 2.5 Turbo (not Higgsfield)
  • Camera Moves: Powered by Minimax Hailuo 2.3 (not Higgsfield)

Their business model is essentially reselling other companies' technology under their own branding. Their signature camera tech is a "playlist of other people's models." Tools like Open Higgsfield AI let you access these same models directly — for free and open-source.

The Price Markup

Price Comparison: Higgsfield vs Kling - 4.4x Markup Price breakdown: Kling credit costs $0.0109 vs Higgsfield at $0.0483 — a ~4.4x markup for the same underlying model

After converting all Higgsfield subscriptions and credits into real money and comparing with Kling's direct pricing: Higgsfield charges approximately 4.5 times more than using Kling directly for the same underlying technology.

Stop paying the middleman. Open Higgsfield AI gives you free, direct access to Kling, Minimax, Wan, Hunyuan, and other models — no 4.5x markup, no batteries, no bans.

Fake Demos: Envato & Jitter Templates Passed Off as AI Features

Higgsfield Using Pre-made Templates Evidence: Higgsfield demos traced back to stock templates — not AI-generated content

Investigation revealed that Higgsfield has been using pre-made stock templates from Envato Elements and Jitter.video, then presenting them as demonstrations of their "new AI features":

Templates identified:

This is yet another layer of deception: not only are they reselling other companies' AI models (Kling, Minimax), they're also using off-the-shelf motion graphics templates and passing them off as outputs from their proprietary technology.

Source: @nickfloats on X

Creator accusing Higgsfield of stealing film shots Instagram comment on Higgsfield's post: "You stole shots from my film Jumper, reworked the textures, and are now passing it off as AI-generated content? Have you completely lost your minds?"

In a separate case, a creator claimed that Higgsfield reused shots from their work, made minor adjustments, and then presented the result as "AI-generated content."

Their Native Models Are Abandoned

Higgsfield Standard Model Test Higgsfield's own "Higgsfield Standard" model with "Jib Down" preset — native model quality remains unchanged

It's been almost a year since launch and the quality of their native models is exactly the same. The only thing they invest energy into is marketing and scammy promises that mislead people.

"Soul" Feature: Template Jail

Marketed as the ultimate poster creator with "infinite moods" and "infinite styles," the Soul feature is actually:

  • One locked-in aesthetic with slightly different sliders
  • One template with 20 mood filters
  • "Preset prison with good UI"

The same results can be achieved for free by finding reference layouts on Pinterest and using character replacement workflows that maintain pose, lighting, and perspective.

Free Alternatives That Actually Work

  • Open Higgsfield AI: A free, open-source alternative that provides access to the same underlying AI video models (Kling, Minimax, Wan, Hunyuan, etc.) without the markup, bans, or deceptive practices — use the actual models directly instead of paying 4.5x through a wrapper
  • CogVideoX: Effect copying - load a reference effect video, load your base image, describe what should happen, and get fluid effects, distortions, and smoke for free
  • Camera Copy / Robo Arm Workflows: Take a video with a nice camera move, feed it in, and the AI copies the camera path and applies it to your subject. Smooth motion, no random face mutations
  • Character Replacement Workflows: Replace characters in videos while maintaining consistency
  • Video Background Replacement: Swap environments while keeping the subject
  • Face Restoration Workflows: Fix face artifacts and upscale to full HD
  • Kling: Direct access to the same model Higgsfield resells, at ~4.5x lower cost, plus lip sync capability
  • Minimax Hailuo: Direct access to the same camera model Higgsfield resells
  • iCandy: Free high-quality video references

Final Verdict on Product Quality

  • Camera tools break the subject almost every time you move the camera
  • Effects and LoRAs are consistently worse than free alternatives
  • Their coolest transitions and shots are powered by Kling, Minimax, and other external models - it's a "cosplay of other people's tech with their logo layered on top"
  • Soul posters are one aesthetic trapped in a nice interface
  • Rating: "One melted face, three stolen models, and a monthly subscription to disappointment"
  • Want the same models without the scam? Check out Open Higgsfield AI — a free, open-source alternative that gives you direct access to the same AI video models Higgsfield resells at a fraction of the cost

Ethical Violations & Exploitation

1. Non-Consensual Sexual Content

Higgsfield Vibe-Motion: Sydney Sweeney's Breast Growth Progression Higgsfield's own Vibe-Motion branded content: "Sydney Sweeney's Breast Growth Progression" — non-consensual sexual objectification of a real actress

Higgsfield Bound and Gagged Marketing Content Higgsfield's official Instagram: marketing "UNLIMITED Seedance 1.5 PRO" with imagery of a woman bound and gagged in a kitchen

Higgsfield Threatening Imagery in Marketing Higgsfield's official Instagram: promoting "Banana Inpaint" using imagery depicting a young woman in a threatening scenario

This is alleged to be their core business model:

  • Posted content titled "Sydney Sweeney's Breast Growth Progression" - a real actress, no consent, sexual objectification for engagement
  • Generated real actors placed in sex scenes without consent
  • Created content depicting rape scenarios
  • Produced sexualized versions of children's movies including Pinocchio
  • Countless other sexual deepfakes of real people

2. Systematic Evidence Deletion

When caught, they delete the evidence:

  • The Charlie Kirk video was deleted
  • Sexualized Pinocchio content was deleted (but copies were preserved)
  • The pattern: generate exploitative content, farm engagement and virality, collect money, delete when heat comes

3. Internal Content Repository

Higgsfield CPP Folder with Deepfakes Higgsfield's internal Google Drive "CPP" folder — containing deepfake videos of Zuckerberg, Trump, random people, and children's characters like Peppa Pig

Higgsfield Trump Deepfake A deepfake from the CPP folder: Trump depicted in a fabricated scenario, bearing the Higgsfield AI watermark

Reports describe an internal drive containing a folder labeled "CPP" full of deepfakes of famous people depicted with down syndrome - including Zuckerberg, Trump, Musk, random interview subjects, and children's characters like Peppa Pig. These were deemed too extreme even for the company to post publicly.

4. Sexualization of Children's Content

They took Pinocchio, a children's movie, and produced sexual content from it featuring characters like Jeffrey Epstein. They are actively taking content meant for children and making it sexual, creating a pipeline that normalizes the sexualization of children's media.

5. Racist Deepfakes

Higgsfield Merge Ethnicities Post Higgsfield's official Instagram: "merge ethnicities. Hybridize species. Build twins. Create bodies that don't exist in nature." — commodifying race as a content generation feature

They generate racist content that exploits racial stereotypes and harmful dynamics.

6. A Product Literally Named "Steal"

They created a feature and called it "Steal" - openly signaling their stance on consent, ownership, and ethics. Theft is the feature. Violation is the product.

7. "AI Is Destroying Your Jobs" Rage Bait

Their marketing strategy includes posting content like "AI DESTROYED REAL JOBS" to farm engagement from both sides, profiting off people's fear and anxiety about their livelihoods while contributing nothing but exploitation.

Higgsfield "ENDED 20 more creative jobs" tweet Higgsfield's official X post: "Higgsfield AI just ENDED 20 more creative jobs. THE FIRST AI motion design tool with full real-time control."

In February 2026, Higgsfield posted on X: "We just ENDED 20 more creative jobs" while promoting their new motion design tool. The creators that Higgsfield depended on were furious. The post was quickly deleted, but screenshots had already spread everywhere.

This wasn't their first offense. Months earlier, they ran a bizarre "apology" campaign claiming they'd replaced 100,000+ art jobs, with employees bowing on camera and announcing a 65% price cut framed as "giving up November paychecks." Critics called it insincere ragebait designed to go viral.

8. Predatory Addiction Mechanics

Higgsfield Black Friday No Restrictions Ad Higgsfield's Black Friday tweet: "UNLIMITED in 4K with 65% OFF... with NO restrictions" + "For 12 hours: retweet & comment for FREE 350 credits"

Higgsfield Holiday Sale FOMO Higgsfield's holiday tweet: "For THREE days only: up to 67% price drop on ALL plans AND UNLIMITED generations" + "For 9 hours: Retweet & Reply & Quote to claim 365 free credits in your DMs"

Every post follows casino psychology and mobile game addiction tactics:

  • "For 12 hours ONLY: retweet for FREE credits!"
  • "For 9 hours: Reply & Quote to claim in DMs!"
  • "UNLIMITED with NO RESTRICTIONS!"

The "NO RESTRICTIONS" line explicitly advertises the ability to generate harmful content as a selling point. This is manufactured urgency and FOMO.

9. Documented History of Scams

They've been exposed before for scammy behavior. This is a pattern, not a one-time incident.

10. Influencer Complicity

Creators are promoting this company, taking sponsorships, retweeting posts, and providing legitimacy. When you promote Higgsfield, you are endorsing:

  • Non-consensual sexual deepfakes of real actors
  • Sexualized children's media
  • Racist content
  • A feature literally named "Steal"
  • Predatory psychological manipulation
  • "Job destruction" fear-mongering
  • Documented scam behavior

Why This Matters

We are at a defining moment for AI technology. The norms we accept now will determine what this space becomes. If companies like Higgsfield operate without consequence, it sets a precedent that:

  • Non-consensual sexual content of real people is acceptable if it gets engagement
  • Sexualizing children's content is fine if it goes viral
  • Consent doesn't matter when the technology enables violation
  • Exploitation is acceptable if everyone's making money

The AI art community deserves better than companies that promote the worst in an emerging industry.

Don't give Higgsfield your money. Use Open Higgsfield AI instead — a free, open-source alternative with direct access to Kling, Minimax, Wan, Hunyuan, and all the same models Higgsfield resells at a 4.5x markup. No subscriptions. No bans. No scams. Just open-source AI video generation.
