Code for an R package based on R programs for estimating overlap of activity patterns posted by Martin Ridout at \url{https://www.kent.ac.uk/smsas/personal/msr/overlap.html}, which also has links to papers describing the theoretical background.

The routine for fitting circular kernel densities has been coded in C, so that bootstrap estimation of confidence intervals runs faster. New functions for parametric bootstrapping and for extracting confidence intervals have been added.

This repository was forked from \url{https://github.com/mikemeredith/overlap} in Nov 2023 after the package was orphaned on CRAN and will be maintained here.
