Digitised wordlist for Sigulei and Salang (NBG 1912) derived from Stokhof and Almanar's "Holle lists: Vocabularies in languages of Indonesia, Vol. 10/3: Islands off the west coast of Sumatra" from 1987 (v1.0.0)

The first release (v1.0.0) of the digitised wordlist for Sigulei and Salang (NBG 1912) (collected by Hotz in 1911) in the Holle List for the languages of the Barrier Islands, Sumatra, Indonesia (Stokhof 1980; Stokhof and Almanar 1987). The words for Sigulei and Salang (NBG 1912) in Stokhof and Almanar (1987) are without their translations; these words were joined computationally with their Dutch, English, and Malay/Indonesian translations in the introductory volume (Stokhof 1980) based on the Index numbers, using the digitised master list (in Rajeg 2023 derived from the scanned PDF in Stokhof 1980). We also joined (i) the notes, and (ii) the Concepticon concept sets (List et al. 2025).

This work is part of the digitised Holle List for languages of the Barrier Islands, Sumatra, Indonesia (also here). It was initiated from the AHRC-funded research (AH/W007290/1) to build Lexical resources for Enggano, a threatened language of Indonesia.
