Installation

1. Install Poetry

Linux, macOS, Windows (WSL)

$ curl -sSL https://install.python-poetry.org | python3 -

Windows (Powershell)

$ (Invoke-WebRequest -Uri https://install.python-poetry.org -UseBasicParsing).Content | py -

2. Clone repo

$ git clone https://github.com/LukeSchmitt96/movie-bet-bot.git

3. Install project with Poetry

$ poetry install --with test,dev

4. Seed bot's database

5. Configure bot's <project_root>/.env file. See the example environment file for a template.

6. (Optional) Run tests, pre-commit hooks

$ poetry run task test
$ poetry run task pre-commit

7. Run bot

$ poetry run task start
