Expand Up @@ -224,3 +224,57 @@ for the common good. Ultimately, by embracing its unique identity and integratin
technology responsibly, Haiti can reclaim its historic place among the world’s
top tourist destinations, not by imitation,
but by amplifying its own voice and strengths.

## Target Audience

Who is the platform for?
International travelers seeking authentic experiences.
Diaspora communities interested in reconnecting with Haiti.
Local entrepreneurs and artisans looking for visibility.
NGOs and tourism stakeholders are promoting sustainable development.

## Expected Impact

Short-term: Increase awareness and change perceptions about Haiti.
Medium-term: Boost responsible travel interest and support for local businesses.
Long-term: Contribute to national Sustainable tourism strategies and cultural
and natural heritage preservation.

## Challenges We are trying to face

. Overcoming negative stereotypes and misinformation
Haiti is often describe as a dangerous and unstable destination,
which overshadows ist cultural richness and natural beauty. These descriptions
most of the time did not specify what part of the country this
situation affected. Our goal is to provide accurate, balanced content that
highlights Haiti's authentic strengths, its history, art, traditions biodiversity
and welcoming population.

. Ensuring the platform represents Haiti authentically and ethically.
Most of the narratives on Haiti are written by outsiders, they did not, all the time, reflect
the true image of the country. To overcome this challenge, our project will
ensure that all content is created with respect, transparency and cultural respect.

. Building partnerships with credible local organizations and tourism operators.
To create a trustworthy platform we have to have good collaboration with local partners,
such as community associations, eco-tourism initiatives, guides, artisans and local businesses
that aligns to our value
. Maintaining accessibility and continuous content updates.
Our goal is to maintain the platform update with reliable information, new travel experinces, local events
and safety recommendations, while ensuring it remains acessible to both local
and international users.

## Success Indicators (Metrics)

. Growth in user engagement and website traffic.
We believe that an increase in platform visits, time spent on the site, repeat users
interactions ( like comments, shares, or save experiences) will indicate thet people
finds the platform worth their time and interest.
. Increase in local business participation.
We aim to onboard more artisans, guides, eco-lodges, community groups
and cultural organizations as time goes by. Growth in participation showcase
the platform is becoming a valuable tool for haitian entrepreneurs and communities.
. Positive feedback from tourists and Haitian communities.
Success will also be measured trough feedback from users. Such as visitors
who discover new experiences safely and locals who feel supported and economically empowered.
We can also conduct surveys to gather insights on users satisfaction and areas for improvement.
