1 month team project

|| Introduction ||

Extinction is a six dimentions of freedom game built based from the Descent PC game by Parallax Software. Originally designed for the end of term level design II - project 2B at NSCC (2017). The team consisted of 4 people that worked together to build up to 3 levels of game play.

This game is 1 month old.

Jonathan Kynock ========================

  • Map design
  • Projectile bloom & emissions
  • Lighting & effects
  • Main menu button design

Ethan Gagne ========================

  • 3D weapons (chaingun, lasers)
  • 3D enemy models / textures
  • 3D ship model

Myke Wills ========================

  • Lead Programmer (Programmed every aspect of this game besides mentioned above), main menu, enemies & boss 1/3 states, pick up items, scene transition, weapons, health/energy mechanics, game UI, player controller.
  • Levels 1 & 2
  • Energy & shield 3D models
  • Level 1/2 Boss 3D model
  • Main menu (title image, loading screen)
  • UI design(pause menu, icons, damage, elemental effects)
  • Enemy/boss textures

Music was downloaded from alt sources & were just placements for our project

Special thanks to Freesound.org for their free sound effects. All sound effects are credited to the people of freesound. (pickup sounds, enemy sounds, ship sounds, UI sounds)
