This is the initial release of the CUDA Fractal Explorer application. It allows you to explore the Mandelbrot and Julia sets with high performance, using NVIDIA CUDA acceleration or a CPU fallback for broader compatibility.
Download Instructions:
Download the appropriate file for your system under the "Assets" section below.
Choosing the Correct File:
Look for the file name that matches your operating system and hardware:
- Files ending in
.rarare for Windows. - Files ending in
.tar.gzare for Linux.
Within those, choose based on your graphics hardware:
-NVIDIA: Choose this version if you have a compatible NVIDIA graphics card and the necessary drivers installed. This version offers the best performance and full features using CUDA.-CPU: Choose this version if you do not have a compatible NVIDIA graphics card. This version uses the CPU fallback. Performance will be lower, and some features might be limited compared to the NVIDIA version.
