Sprint 1 Review

WHAT WENT WELL

  • Communication-- Slack was a very good idea because it helped us communicate better and know who is participating in the discussions
  • We understood each others strength and weaknesses
  • The team was able to use the chosen technologies and roles were well defined

WHAT WENT WRONG

  • People weren't effectively using Github at the beginning for the project
  • People weren't asking for help when in trouble

WHAT COULD BE DONE DIFFERENTLY

  • Make commits more frequently and meet up physically more rather than just in class

SOLUTIONS

  • Create an actual schedule to meet up physically
  • Give people more options to learn
  • Talk more effectively
  • Push updates constantly
  • Ask for help more when needed
  • Divide Sprint 2 tasks equally so everyone has equal amount of work
