In this PR, I have:
Reason for this PR
Sometimes access to new features in our ALKiln version update necessitates authors to update their version of ALKilnInThePlayground. Potentially in future there will be breaking changes we need to tell authors about. If an author doesn't stay in the loop with messages in the channels or the changelog, then we haven't had a way of letting them know. Now, though, ALKiln will have a way to show its own messages based on its version, so we can write friendly messages to authors whenever we want! (Judiciously)
