Steps to Install the Chrome Extension
Download the Extension
- Download the provided .zip file containing the extension build.
Extract the Files
- Locate the downloaded .zip file on your computer.
- Right-click on it and select "Extract All..." (or use any extraction tool you prefer).
- Extract the contents to a folder on your system.
Open Chrome Extensions Page
- Open Google Chrome and navigate to
chrome://extensionsby typing it into the address bar and pressing Enter.
Enable Developer Mode
- In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, toggle Developer Mode to enable it.
Load the Unpacked Extension
- Click on the "Load unpacked" button (visible after enabling Developer Mode).
- In the file dialog that appears, navigate to and select the folder where you extracted the extension files.
Confirm Installation
- Once loaded, you should see your extension appear in the list of extensions.
- Ensure it is enabled (the toggle switch next to it should be blue).
Start Using the Extension
- The extension icon should now appear in your browser toolbar. Click on it to start using your extension!
Tips for Users
- If you encounter any issues, ensure that all files were extracted properly and that you're selecting the correct folder during the "Load unpacked" step.
- If Developer Mode is disabled after loading the extension, don’t worry—your extension will still work as expected.
